GCS Seal The Board of Directors of Goodpasture Christian School is pleased to update you on the progress we have made in the selection of a new president. In January, we signed a contract with Parker Executive Search, of Atlanta, GA, to conduct a nationwide search for the new president. Following Parker's thorough search of candidates interested and qualified for this position, the search was narrowed to 7 finalists from 7 major cities across the nation. The full Board of Directors interviewed the 7 finalists and came to a consensus. Effective June of 2008, our new president will be Mr. Ricky Perry of Chattanooga, TN. Ricky has served in Christian education for 23+ years. He has served as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, and for the past 7 years, as Development Director of Boyd Buchanan School in Chattanooga.

Parents of Goodpasture students will be receiving a letter in the mail next week with additional information.

We continue to ask for your prayers and support as we transition into this exciting new beginning.
