Coach Estep and Pitcher Adkins Honored
The Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association will award Coach Richie Estep and left-hander Adam Adkins a double header of awards Jan. 26th. They will be named Coach and Player of the Year, respectively, at the Class AA TBCA awards luncheon being held at the Marriott Cool Springs Hotel that weekend.
Adkins pitched the Cougars to the state title last May, with Estep as coach. Among the speakers at the convention are Mississippi State's Ron Polk, Vanderbilt assistant Derek Johnson and UT's Todd Raliegh.
