Before coming to Goodpasture Mrs. Merritt was employed by the Metropolitan Nashville School System for twelve years.

Mr. Perry has worked in Christian education for 25 years as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal and most recently Development Director. Mr. Perry comes to Goodpasture Christian School from Boyd-Buchanan Christian School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

My husband and I have two boys who attend Goodpasture Elementary School.

In 1971 my senior year at Lipscomb I coached football and wrestling at Goodlettsville Middle school in the Metro Public School before receiving a job at Wharton and Glenn schools the next year. The next two years I taught at Harding Academy in Nashville. Then in 1975 I came to Goodpasture as a teacher and coach. In 2007 I continue to teach two classes and have become the Dirctor of Admissions.

I taught and coached at Goodpasture from 1991-1997, teaching 9th grade English and coaching football and baseball. In 97-98 I moved to Chester Co. High School and was the head football coach. From 98-02 I served as the Athletic Director and head football coach at Jackson Christian School.

I was the pitching coach for the varsity baseball at Goodpasture from 02-06, and I currently coach the offensive line for the varsity football team.

I started at Goodpasture in 2000, teaching Physical Science and Algebra I. I also coached the Boys' and Girls' Soccer Team from 2000-2007. I began teaching Chemistry in 2002, and also taught one year of Pre-Calculus. After three years of teaching Chemistry, I became the High School Principal in 2005. My wife, Penny, and I married in November of 2007.
