Goodpasture Softball players and Coach Win

The season ended this year at the championship for the state title but that hasn't stopped the Seniors that have graduated. They all played in an All-Star annual game and here is what Coach Phillips had to say about the game.

Kelsey Cartwright, Tiffany Hibbs, Megan Bryant and Coach Phillips participated in the MTSCA All-Star classic yesterday. Our team, the A/AA All Stars, defeated the North AAA All Stars 5-2. 

Tiffany hit a 3-run HR in the 1st inning, helping to defeat the South AAA All Stars 4-2 in 10 innings.  Kelsey doubled in the winning run and then scored the insurance run on a groundout in the 10th inning for the win.  Both girls will play on June 25 at MTSU in the KY/TN All Star game and Mr. Phillips will be one of the coaches.

Congratulations to a great season of softball and this Great Classic annual game. We look forward to seeing these girls and Coach Phillips do well again at MTSU in the KY/TN All Star Game.
