PTO Activity
In its second year, the Goodpasture PTO is continuing to develop into a strong and supportive unit for the school. The overall excitement surrounding the PTO has been evidenced on campus this year since registration. Over 300 families joined the PTO this year!
Over 500 GCS students, parents, teachers, and friends enjoyed the PTO’s 2nd annual “Back to School Bash”. New cougar moms were welcomed to the GCS family with a brunch and devotional in October. In November, the PTO’s first snack supper social was well attended and provided a great period of food and fellowship. In December, the PTO assisted faculty and administration at the unexpected passing of Gilbert Drake, the school’s president, by providing breakfast and lunch, substituting in classrooms, and answering phones.
The PTO has been active in the development of the school’s new website and marketing the school to new families. If you have not joined the PTO, please contact us to find out how you can help our school.
