Welcome to Goodpasture High School

Goodpasture High School students will experience an education that promotes spirituality, academics, and extra-curricular activities. A student's four years of high school will be interwoven with a spiritual fabric that is unmatched. Daily devotionals, Bible classes, and other activities such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes lay a foundation for our students, which is enhanced by the spiritual leadership and example that our faculty sets. Our teachers use this foundation to teach our students and help them to reach their highest potential.

Goodpasture High School has college preparatory and honors classes that promote lifelong learning. Our 10 Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment Classes provide our honors students with a challenging course load that enables them to earn college credit. Our smart board technology gives our teachers the tools to use many different teaching strategies for our students. New Biology, Chemistry, and Physics labs give our students the tools needed to explore, analyze, and predict information that promotes higher-level thinking.

Along with our spiritual and academic emphasis, Goodpasture High School provides many different opportunities for students outside of the classroom. Award winning Chorus, Marching Band, and Concert Band programs are available for our students. Our Mock Trial students learn about courtroom procedures and law practices. Goodpasture athletic programs produced three state championships and one state runner up in 2006-07.

Overall, the Goodpasture High School experience is one that enables a student to grow in all aspects of their lives. It prepares young men and women for their college future and gives them the tools to be successful in years to come.
